Emil Pirchan – A Universal Artits of the 20th Century
Klimt-Foundation, Vienna
26 November 2018
The artist’s grandson Beat Steffan and an extensive team of authors have undertaken in recent years to identify, arrange, examine and edit Emil Pirchan’s estate. This endeavour gave rise to a richly coloured volume, in Germanand English-language editions, which makes it possible to re-experience an entire epoch of German-Austrian and Czech cultural history with an extraordinary range of detail and perspective.
